Trump warns Iran: Renew nuclear work and face another U.S. strike

U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a clear warning to Iran, stating that any attempts to revive its nuclear facilities would lead to another military strike by the United States.

Speaking at the ongoing NATO Summit in The Hague, President Trump addressed recent developments following the Israel-Iran conflict. He confirmed that after minor ceasefire violations, both sides are now adhering to the truce. “At my request, Israeli fighter jets returned. Israel stepping back from war is a positive sign,” he said.

Trump claimed major U.S. victories inside Iran, emphasizing the destruction of the Fordow nuclear site. “There’s nothing left there now but rubble. This ceasefire is a win for Iran too—their country survived,” he added, while also noting damage from Iranian missile strikes in Israel.

The U.S. President stressed that Iran must not be allowed to enrich uranium again. “If Iran resumes uranium enrichment, we’ll strike again,” he said. According to Trump, it would now be very difficult for Iran to build nuclear weapons in the foreseeable future.

Speaking alongside him, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio echoed Trump’s message. He said that the American strikes severely damaged Iran’s nuclear capabilities, and further assessments are underway.

On the issue of Gaza, Trump said “major progress” is being made but provided no additional details.

During the summit, NATO Secretary General also commended Trump for persuading alliance members to increase their defense spending, underscoring America’s renewed leadership role.

The warning comes a day after President Trump formally announced a ceasefire between Israel and Iran, urging both sides not to violate the truce. He shared the update via social media, calling for restraint and diplomacy moving forward.
