Erdoğan slams Israel: ‘Dragging the region toward destruction’

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has issued a strong warning against Israel. He said Israel is trying to pull the entire Middle East into destruction. His statement came after Israel launched a deadly airstrike on Iran early Friday morning.

In a press briefing, Erdoğan called on the international community to take urgent action. “The global powers must stop these Israeli bandits,” he said. He added that Israel is not just attacking Iran, but also targeting the peace and stability of the whole region.

According to Erdoğan, Israel’s latest wave of attacks is not a simple military move. “It is a serious provocation,” he said. He accused Israel of violating international law. He also pointed out that these strikes are meant to increase bloodshed, especially in Gaza, where civilians already suffer.

Erdoğan didn’t hold back in criticizing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He blamed Netanyahu’s leadership for spreading chaos. “This careless and lawless behavior is pushing both our region and the world into a dark future,” Erdoğan said firmly. He also emphasized the need for diplomacy and restraint.

Earlier today, Israel carried out strikes on over a dozen Iranian targets. The attacks killed at least 78 people, including 4 senior military officers and 6 nuclear scientists. Women and children were also among the victims. Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, called the attack a grave mistake and vowed a strong response.
