Sir: Imran Khan’s address at Bahawalpur was full of aggression. In the backdrop of Pakistan’s present political and security situation, especially in the post-Model Town scenario, this is exactly what is not required at this time. It is the opposition’s right to protest against the policies of the government, but calling people to a march to Islamabad and then asking them to crush whatever comes in their way sounds nihilist. Imran sounded more like an invader than a politician trying to reform the country. Since Imran has a reasonable following in the country, I suggest that he keeps a low political tone to avoid any adverse reaction. Ibne Saleem Lahore
