ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in the PM House on Monday.
The two dignitaries discussed the security matters of the country,
It was deciding in the meeting that Pakistan would take up the issue of suspension of coalition support fund by US defense department Pentagon with US secretary of state mike Pompeo when he arrives in Islamabad on 5th September.
It was agreed that both civil and military leadership would not only take up this issue but would also strongly deny US allegations that Pakistan was not taking actions against terror groups and they are operating along with Pakistan’s border area with Afghanistan.
The meeting was held two days after PM Imran visited the General Headquarters (GHQ).
PM Imran had assured the army chief that government would provide all resources to require and maintain the capability and capacity of the Army.
