Before her, Puma worked with big names like The Weeknd, Kylie Jenner and many others but the success which they got with Rihanna was better than all of the mentioned stars.
According to a recent report released by Puma’s chief marketing department, each of Selena Gomez’s Instagram post values $3.4 mil for Puma.
“Some of Selena’s posts equaled to nearly $3.5 million in media impact value per post, whereas Puma’s best performing one only reached $195k said Alison Bringe’, company’s chief marketing officer.
Selena has the highest number of followers on Instagram and every brand would love to work with Selena but there is a reason why she chose Puma over other brands.
Taking about the “SG” moniker she said this doesn’t just stands for the initials of my name it actually stands for “Strong girls.”
‘’The whole point is to take the focus away from me. It’s about what I believe in and what I chose to do with the platform I’m given.” She said.

Talking about her partnership with Puma she stated “It’s strong – I never forgot to say the word ‘strong.’ The whole point of my line is for any women who dresses up in athletic wear to feel strong and beautiful.”
Selena, who had a kidney transplant few months ago, will also be donating a fair amount of her earnings to the Alliance for Lupus Research.
