Published on: August 2, 2018 10:44 PM

Money is the need of everyone and Conor is not the only one who spends more time on money than in the Octagon. Recently Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager made their intentions clear that big fight should have big amount of money. The truth is that there is nothing wrong in it, especially coming from the front man of Khabib, as Khabib has better record that Conor and he is yet to lose a fight.

Ali Abdelaziz, Khabib’s manager stated that the time has come to discuss the terms and there will be no ‘compromise’ on money.

“We will get a deal done.”

Ali further added “Trust me. My relationship with Dana, Hunter, Sean, Mick. I have a different relationship. I’m not gonna overplay my hand and they need to be fair. There’s no way in hell Nate Diaz can make more money that Khabib. There’s no way in hell (Nurmagomedov is the) undefeated, undisputed lightweight champion of the world. That’s it.”

Nate Diaz and McGregor made $2 mil and $3 mil respectively when they fought twice in 2006.

Talking about the impact of the fight Ali said “It’s not about who’s the champion the rankings, none of this stuff. It’s about money. Khabib wants to kick his ass, I want to see it, but at the end of the day, if Conor fights it’s business.”

Conor is yet to comment on that as the date of the bout is still to be announced. Conor almost made $75 million last year when he fought Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match.

Sponsorships, ticket prices, and fight money is still to be announced but one of thing is for sure, the amount of the money involved will be huge as it is a Conor Mcgregor fight.
