Netflix has released the first trailer for Enola Holmes 3, revealing that Enola’s long-awaited wedding plans take an unexpected turn when a new mystery emerges involving her missing brother, Sherlock Holmes.

The upcoming film sees Millie Bobby Brown return as the sharp-witted young detective, who appears set for a happy future with Lord Tewkesbury. However, the trailer quickly shifts from romance to suspense as Enola finds herself drawn into another high-stakes investigation.

The preview opens with Enola racing through the countryside and confronting a mysterious rider, while preparations for her wedding continue in the background. As the ceremony approaches, she begins questioning whether marriage could affect her independence and identity.

The story takes a dramatic turn when news arrives that Sherlock Holmes has disappeared on the morning of the wedding. The revelation forces Enola to put her personal plans on hold and embark on what is described as her most dangerous and emotionally challenging case yet.

Set to a dramatic rendition of the song White Wedding, the trailer combines action, mystery and humour, elements that have helped make the franchise a popular success with audiences worldwide.

Returning cast members include Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, Louis Partridge as Tewkesbury and Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria Holmes. The new adventure will take Enola to Malta as she attempts to uncover the truth behind her brother’s disappearance.

The Enola Holmes film series, based on the novels by Nancy Springer, has become one of Netflix’s most successful mystery franchises, blending detective storytelling with coming-of-age themes.

According to Netflix, the third instalment promises bigger action sequences, higher stakes and deeper emotional challenges for its lead character as she balances love, family and her passion for solving mysteries.
