The decision was made during a hearing of a drug recovery case pending before the Judicial Magistrate South court. During the proceedings, police sought permission to present the accused through a video link instead of transporting her to court.

According to the police, bringing Anmol Pinky to court in person could create law and order concerns and pose security challenges. Authorities argued that virtual appearances would help ensure safety while allowing legal proceedings to continue without interruption.

After hearing the arguments, the court accepted the request and observed that the accused’s physical custody was not required at this stage of the investigation. The magistrate noted that, due to security considerations, Anmol Pinky could be exempted from appearing in person until the submission of the challan, or final investigation report.

The court further directed that the accused should be produced whenever the court specifically summons her or requires her presence during future proceedings. The ruling allows the case to move forward while addressing security concerns raised by law enforcement authorities.

In a related development, investigators have also sought access to the bank accounts of individuals named as co-accused in the case. The investigating officer has submitted an application before a sessions court requesting permission to examine the financial records as part of the ongoing inquiry.

Authorities believe the financial information could assist investigators in tracing transactions and gathering evidence linked to the case. The court is expected to consider the request in upcoming hearings.
