Their achievement comes at a time when an increasing number of Pakistani doctors are securing competitive training positions abroad. According to data shared by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC), over 1,000 Pakistani doctors obtained residency placements in the United States in 2025, the highest number on record in a single year.
