Islamabad: Talks with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are now impossible, said Senator Rana Sanaullah. He blamed PTI chief Imran Khan for worsening the situation. Sanaullah said the Prime Minister had offered dialogue in parliament, which PTI neither accepted nor withdrew. He stressed democracy grows through dialogue, not deadlock, and the offer still stands.
Sanaullah explained PTI’s actions have made the political environment more unstable. He said the party’s chief led the situation toward chaos. He criticized PTI for ignoring the government’s peaceful efforts and warned such behavior undermines democracy.

The government clarified that the parliamentary dialogue offer remains active. Sanaullah urged PTI to reconsider for the nation’s benefit. He stressed meaningful negotiation requires responsibility, honesty, and respect for democratic norms.
Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar said PTI lost its chance for talks. He added extremists and anti-state actors will not be engaged. Tarar warned any attempt to disrupt peace outside parliament will face strict legal action.

The government concluded democracy requires dialogue and compromise, while PTI’s approach risks conflict. Sanaullah and Tarar called on the party to act responsibly. They said parliamentary engagement is the only legitimate path to resolve disputes.
