Rockstar Games has announced another delay for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6, moving the release date to 19 November 2026, leaving fans both frustrated and hopeful.
The developers explained that the extra time is necessary to polish the game and ensure it meets the high standards expected from one of the world’s biggest gaming franchises.

GTA 6 has now faced two major delays. The original release was planned for autumn 2025, then postponed to May 2026, and now to November 2026, marking over a decade of development.
The franchise’s massive popularity stems from GTA 5, released in 2013, which sold more than 220 million copies and redefined open-world gaming, generating unprecedented excitement for its sequel.

Rockstar also confirmed that GTA 6 will initially launch exclusively on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with the PC version expected later, though no specific timeline has been shared.
