Petrol pump owners announced an indefinite nationwide shutdown after talks with the government failed, according to the All Pakistan Petrol Pumps Association. The closure will begin from midnight, affecting fuel availability across the country.
Association General Secretary Nauman Ali Butt said negotiations with the Ministry of Petroleum failed. He announced that petrol pumps across Pakistan would remain closed indefinitely from midnight tomorrow after the talks ended without an agreement.

The association said the shutdown would include all areas of Pakistan, including Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. It did not provide details about the issues that led to the failure of negotiations.
