Bollywood stars Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani delighted fans on Friday as they revealed the name of their newborn daughter along with a tender new photo. The couple took to Instagram on November 28 to share a heartfelt joint post celebrating their little one.

In the photo, the actors can be seen gently holding their baby girl’s tiny feet, wrapped in soft white knitted booties. Alongside the image, they announced her name: Saraayah Malhotra. “From our prayers, to our arms. Our divine blessing, our princess, Saraayah Malhotra,” the post read.

Fans and fellow celebrities were quick to flood the comments with love, blessings, and warm wishes. Though the couple did not share the meaning behind the name, Indian media outlets suggested that Saraayah may be inspired by the Hebrew name Sarah, meaning “princess,” according to Hindustan Times.
Sidharth and Kiara welcomed their daughter on July 15, announcing her birth through an emotional Instagram update. “Our hearts are full and our world forever changed. We are blessed with a baby girl. – Kiara and Sidharth,” the Shershaah co-stars wrote at the time.
