The Government of Sindh, Agriculture, Supply & Prices Department has notified that in pursuance of the provisions contained in section 8 of the Sugar Factories Control Act, 1950 (Sindh Amendment, Act 1971, further amended in 1994 and 2009) and with the approval of the Provincial Cabinet, Government of Sindh, Agriculture, Supply & Prices Department specified commencement date of Sugarcane crushing for the season 2025-26 as 15th November 2025. All Sugar Mills operating in Sindh and the concerned authorities shall ensure strict compliance with the notified date and all obligations prescribed under the Act and Rules.
