Dataminers have uncovered nine previously undisclosed multiplayer modes in Battlefield 6, suggesting that Electronic Arts (EA) and Battlefield Studios are preparing a significant expansion of the game’s content.
Earlier investigations before Season One revealed six new match types in internal files. Two, Sabotage and Strikepoint, were officially confirmed, while four—Raid, Payload, Squad Shootout, and Tank Hunt—remain unannounced.
A fresh round of datamining has now revealed five additional modes labeled as early “prototypes”: Convoy, Fantastic Four, Gunmaster, Touchdown, and Tug of War, raising the total of unreleased modes to nine.

The prototype label suggests that these modes are still in early development. EA appears to be focusing on its current 11 multiplayer modes, with Sabotage and Ice Lock slated for release later this season.
Although EA has not shared specifics, the mode names hint at gameplay styles. Gunmaster could involve weapon cycling like Call of Duty’s “Gun Game,” while Tug of War may feature prolonged back-and-forth team battles.
There is no confirmed release window for any of the nine modes. With Season One concluding in December, these new modes are likely to arrive sometime in 2026, adding more depth to Battlefield 6’s multiplayer experience.
