Published on: October 26, 2025 10:54 AM

QUETTA: Three armed suspects were killed and a police constable injured during an exchange of fire in Quetta’s Brewery area on Saturday, police said.

According to officials, Brewery police were conducting snap checking at the Western Bypass when they signalled a suspicious car to stop. However, the occupants opened fire and attempted to flee.

Police retaliated and chased the vehicle, which was intercepted in Killi Khali, on the outskirts of Quetta. A heavy exchange of gunfire followed, resulting in the deaths of three suspects and injuries to one constable.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Shoukat Jadoon confirmed the incident, stating that the injured officer was shifted to a hospital for treatment. The bodies of the deceased suspects were moved to Bolan Medical College Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
