Jemima Goldsmith has once again stopped her sons, Kasim and Sulaiman, from visiting Pakistan due to alleged security threats from within Imran Khan’s own family. According to sources, Jemima called her sons back from the US to London to protect them, after receiving concerning messages from trusted contacts in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Sources claim these messages warned that Kasim and Sulaiman could face greater danger from Khan’s sisters and relatives than from state authorities. The sisters reportedly never accepted Jemima as family and have shown little affection for her sons. This internal family tension has raised serious security concerns for the boys’ possible visit.
During their US stay, the cold treatment of Kasim and Sulaiman by PTI’s American leadership and supporters disappointed many in the party. PTI members and allied lobbyists in the US allegedly offered no significant support or recognition, despite expectations. As a result, frustration has grown among overseas supporters.
The visit’s failure has caused a rift within PTI’s US chapters, with groups now blaming each other for the poor reception. Many in PTI had high hopes that the boys’ arrival in Pakistan would energize the party’s campaign and draw global attention. Now, those hopes are fading fast.
Party leaders, including Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, are visibly disheartened. Many fear mass arrests of federal and provincial lawmakers could follow soon. Meanwhile, the movement Imran Khan planned to peak by August 5 is rapidly losing momentum with each passing day.
