YouTube has launched two exciting new AI-powered features to improve how users find and interact with videos on its platform. These updates come as part of YouTube’s ongoing push to make video watching easier and more personalized using artificial intelligence.
The first new tool is an AI-based video search assistant. It suggests videos based on what users have searched for before, making recommendations smarter and more relevant. Right now, only YouTube Premium subscribers can use this feature, but YouTube plans to make it available to free users in the near future.
The second feature is a conversational AI assistant that helps viewers ask questions about the videos they are watching. Since November 2023, this tool was exclusive to Premium users, but now it will be accessible to all. A button called “Ask about this video” will appear under videos, allowing users to chat with the AI, get answers, and receive suggestions related to the content.
YouTube states that these features will gradually roll out in the coming weeks for all users worldwide. These AI tools aim to make video searching more interactive and fun, helping users discover content faster and engage more deeply.
With these new additions, YouTube strengthens its position as a leading video platform blending smart technology with user convenience.
