PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Finance Minister Muzaffar Said Advocate on Tuesday said that a comprehensive program of constructing bar rooms throughout the province has been chalked out for inclusion in coming ADP. He was talking to a delegation of Timergara Bar Association that called on him at Civil Secretariat here. The delegation led by Salim Khan Advocate apprised minister of their problems and demand regarding construction of Bar Chamber in District Headquarter. The minister assured District Bar Chamber at Timergara and release of Rs two million for Tehsil Bar Wari. He said four mega schemes have been launched including extension of bar room, library and consultation rooms in Peshawar costing Rs 200 million, bar rooms at Takhbai, Mardan, Swat, Abbottabad and Mansehra with an estimated cost of Rs 313 million. He said his government wants to establish supremacy of law, merit and justice in the province besides improving life standard of a common man. He urged lawyer’s community to support government in its efforts to improve standard of education. The finance minister also assured that provincial government would continue extending financial support to lawyers with the condition of its transparent use and audits.
