President UMT Ibrahim Hasan Murad met Chairman Peshawar Zalmi Javed Afridi here at UMT. Mr. Ibrahim Murad welcomed him and gave a brief introduction about UMT and its sports activities. While having discussion President UMT said that we feel proud that UMT is leading Private University which encourages Sports activities in the country. We have given Rs 100 million+ in scholarships to deserving sportsmen from all over the country to groom players & talent that will take Pakistan to the next level; he added.
Ibrahim Murad said we believe that sports and training are an integral part of personality development therefore for the promotion of sport; we organize National & International sports events in UMT as it teaches you discipline, perseverance and teamwork which are a must to compete in this every changing and evolving world. Hence, UMT not only focuses on academic excellence and research endeavours, but the idea is to also produce next generation who understand the value of staying athletic fit.
Javed Afridi appreciated the vision and spirit of President UMT for the promotion of sports in the country. Chairman Peshawar Zalmi offered accolades to Ibrahim Hasan Murad for his cooperation and support for the grooming of cricket players.
