Meaningful books with good content are a source of great joy and pleasure which cannot be expressed in words. It’s necessary for the human mind and body to develop the habit of reading because that’s what books demand from us. Different people have different interests, and the one who has the hobby of reading is priceless. Students especially the youth of the present time, it is important for them to read good books to develop confidence and to gain the knowledge of different subjects. In reading also, different people have different interests in reading sections like some have interest in autobiographies, some like newspapers some like horoscopes some like sports articles, some like novels some people have interest in imaginative world, some like short stories; everything having good material enhance your knowledge and creative abilities.
Our youth is more inclined towards a different genre for instance Harry Potter, which is a fictitious series that takes us beyond this world, very dreamlike and full of fantasy. There are some books which I personally recommend to the youth and I believe they find it fascinating and inspiring like one of my favourite inspirational book is Al-Chemist it is a journey based theme which keeps you motivated in your entire journey.
Some of the other books that created a sensation among book lovers included A Case of Exploding Mangoes by Mohammed Hanif, Moth Smoke by Mohsin Hamid, Amulet by Kazu Kibuishi, The Wandering Falcon by Jamil Ahmed and The School for Good & Evil by Soman Chainani. The books I describe ahead are the source of great pleasure for everyone and for our current youth also and these books are according to the taste of teens especially.
Books are our life time companion and remains to us till last. There so many good effects of reading books as it make us think and analyze logically and expand our knowledge about different subjects. Human beings are social and they can’t live without it so reading makes one to communicate well.
Reading books help enhance our vocabulary. They are the building blocks of vocabulary and help us structured and pattern our writing well as well as increase our creative abilities to explore the field of narration. Through books, we’re able to learn sentence structuring and form different new phrases. We are able to learn and grasp language to its full. Books are such a treasure that only a one single book of great worth brings a great soothing effect in our life and this effect remains with us forever.
