Two activists of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) were killed in separate incidents of firing in different areas of the metropolis Thursday night. According to details, unidentified armed motorcyclists gunned down PTI activists Abdul Rehman and 55-year-old Shafqat in Site and Orangi Town areas respectively. Shafqat had recently retired from police department and joint PTI. Reacting to the murder of party activists, PTI leader Khurram Shehzad has demanded Sindh chief minister and Rangers director general take notice and direct action against the culprits involved in the killings. He said it the incidents of targeted killings are not controlled, the situation can grow worse which is neither in favour of Karachities nor the people of entire province. It is responsibility of the Sindh government to maintain peace in the metropolis, he asserted. Taking notice of the incidents, the Sindh IGP has sought report from DIG West.
