There lived a Prince Harry
His brother was the heir
And he was the spare

He was very taken
By the bubbly Ms Markle
Full of wit and sparkle
She’s not exactly conventional
And maybe that’s essential
For a monarchy steeped in the past
Many wondered how long it would last
The Queen has wisely held everyone together
In rain, sunshine and inclement weather
Looking forward to the royal marriage
Beautiful gowns and a horse drawn carriage
More than that her humanitarian spirit
Diana had it and Meghan will carry it
