These 90s fashion trends are making a comeback

Published on: July 21, 2018 12:27 AM

90s was a spectacular time as there is so much to reminisce from that era. Everything was better, whether it was movies and TV shows like FRIENDS and Titanic, songs from Britney Spears, Fakhar-e-Alam and Backstreet Boys or clothes like maxi dresses and overalls. When it comes to fashion, we simply cannot ignore 90’s classic fashion trends. What was old is new again and the 90s fashion trends are back with a bang and have become the next big thing.

Fashion changes, but style endures. Here are all the famous fashion trends of 1990’s that will surely be making their way back into your closet.

Round-frame glasses

The glasses that were once considered nerdy, have made a huge comeback. You can easily get into the 90s groove, without over doing it. Round sunnies are a hit these days!

Leather jackets

Edgy leather jackets never go out of style and they are here to stay. One leather jacket has endless possibilities; you can do so much with just one jacket. You can wear it with almost anything.

Jelly Shoes

If you are a 90s kid then you are well aware of what jelly sandals are. These plastic and clear shoes have decorated many young girls’ feet. Nowadays, top stores are refreshing the trend by introducing the jelly shoes.

Printed Separates

Floral and matching separates were huge in the nineties. This summer, printed separates are the style trend of the year! A lot of fashion divas and celebrities have been seen wearing this classy and chic outfit.

Mom Jeans

The cool yet comfortable mom jeans from the 90’s have returned once again. Let’s all agree that mom jeans are always a comfortable option, whatever decade you live in. We have seen top models like Gigi Hadid and Kendell Jenner sporting these.

Crop tops

The crop top is one of those trends that has only gotten better with time. It is one of the best legacies handed to us by the era of 1990’s. To avoid showing too much skin you can pair crop tops with high-waist skirts, tailored pants and jeans.

Brown Lips

Dark brown lips were a trend that was grungy and gothic and ruled for a long time even in early 2000’s. Thanks to the Kardashian-Jenner sisters for bringing back this style. Brown lipsticks are not considered unsuitable for young girls anymore.

Off-shoulder tops

Off–shoulder or shoulder-less tops and dresses have never gone out of fashion, but in the 90s, they were one of the most iconic trends. The best thing about this style is that is subtle yet sexy.
