LAHORE: The Punjab Lawn Tennis Association (PLTA) is proud to announce the commencement of the Bank of Punjab Junior National Tennis Championship 2026. The prestigious event began yesterday at the Sports Board Punjab Tennis Academy, Nishtar Park, Lahore.
The championship has drawn talented junior boys and girls from across Pakistan, all competing for top honors.
The opening ceremony was graced by Mr. Tariq Qureshi, Director General Sports & Youth Affairs Punjab, and Mr. Fazl ur Rehman, Secretary Sports & Youth Affairs Punjab, as Chief Guests.
A large gathering of players, parents, coaches, and media representatives witnessed the inauguration.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rashid Malik conveyed his best wishes to all participants. He encouraged the young athletes to compete with “zeal and passion” and strive to become a source of pride for Pakistan in the international arena.
