Over the map of the world, the countries which came into being after ours are developed ones because they got truehearted leaders who performed their roles and responsibilities indisputably while in Pakistan, it’s been all about foul play, misleading the nation and looting the money by either means.
I was questioned by someone that who can be an influential politician in Pakistan? “He who possesses never ending money, whose children are well settled, who have a coercive gang of mercenaries and mainly who knows the art of triggering his followers at the right moment regarding every activity which he individually dislikes”, I replied.
We have gone through massive ups and downs in the 70 years of existence but could never find a genuine leader who could lead the desperate nation from the front and have all essential qualities of being a great political leader. Is this happening because we ourselves are not exactly right, disciplined and sincere? I believe we choose leaders like we are in our etiquettes, opinions and ways of dealing with others.
A five-year period happens to be good enough for governing political leadership to execute the purpose the people have elected them honestly. But instead, they pay attention to self-voracity of earning as much as possible, keep criticising the opposition and making lives of people miserable. These are some significant works which such leaders perform during their tenure of being in power.
In the current political scenario, not a single political leader can be trusted. It is no doubt a perplexing situation for the nation. PMLN, PPP, PTI, MQMP, GDA and many others political alliances are eyeing up 2018 elections, but who will be successful is hard to predict right now.

It’s not the media trial of Nawaz Sharif or PMLN, but it’s only the political pressure of opposition alliance to distort democracy and greed of looting the national treasure. Do you think that all other leaders are clear from the allegations for which they are protesting against Nawaz Sharif and his party?
The worst performance indicators in Zardari’s Sindh and Kaptan’s KP are enough to tell the story of so-called ‘real development and change’ carried out by both the governments in their respective power stations. Are both the leaders dreaming of bringing the same type of development throughout the country?
From where has Zardari earned all his wealth and influence in such a short time? It’s because he runs the government like a business. If we compare his pre-politics life with today’s, we will come to know how rapidly he made financial growth and it happened because he is a part typical Pakistani political system.
Like this, Imran Khan is just a retired cricketer, and everyone is well of what should be the earnings of a locally retired cricketer. But as he entered in politics, he never looked back. Today, he is among Pakistan’s wealthiest political personalities.
The way politicians have looted the national treasure and comforted their lives at the cost of the common populace is one of the primary factors of our socioeconomic degradation. If we really want to break the silence on this disloyalty of ostensible leaders, we must stop being the part of such dirty politics.
It has been a part of the political strategies of our politicians to leave a party, join another and re-join the previous one. But such acts humiliate the value of such a leader. No one cares about this in Pakistan; instead, sometimes they keep changing parties regularly. Whom they once consider their bitterest enemy can be their best friend one day. It’s deplorable conduct, but they say everything is fair in love and war and this is an ultimate war of power, so everything is explicable for them.
