He said that constables Minas Ahmad of Battal Police Station and Yasir Shah of City Police Station were first put in quarter guards and later one was dismissed from service and departmental inquiry against the other was launched. “This is national cause and we cannot allow anybody to remain absent from duty,” said Saifullah. Minas Ahmad, who is dismissed from service, was part of a census team who met an accident in Battal area of the district the other day wherein an enumerator (teacher) Abdul Qadir died and an army soldier and driver sustained critical injures.
