ISLAMABAD: A family music gala coupled with a reunion of the Quaidian Sindh Forum (QSF) enthralled the audience on Friday. Though QSF consists of Sindh domicile degree holders of Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, but, in the event Quaidians along with their families fully participated and enjoyed a great deal. In his opening remarks, QSF Islamabad Coordinator Nisar Panhwar introduced QSF and said that the forum was formed in 2007. He informed that in this programme, not only Quaidians belonging from Sindh were participating but participation was from all areas of Pakistan which had made it a national event. The programme will create harmony and unity among all provinces and regions through Sufi music. One of the organisers of the event, Tarique Siyal ensures that such events on the platform of QSF will continue to take place. He said that it was only because of team QSF’s unity that such an event was conducted successfully. Musician Rafiq Fakir performed on various Sindhi, Urdu and Seraiki songs. Alghoza player Akbar Khamiso, who is the son of renowned instrumentalist Khamiso Khan, was also one of the performers.
