PESHAWAR: Zia Ullah Afridi disgruntled MPA of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf submitted a resolution in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly secretariat demanded an enquiry into the alleged corruption in the billion tree tsunami project in the province. It should be mentioned here that official documents of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government negate the claims of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and its chairman Imran Khan “Billion Tree Tsunami” and also questioned the corruption in the project of Rs 12 billion. Imran Khan claimed on various platforms that 1.18 billion trees have been planted in the province after the project was launched but the documents revealed and negate the claims of Imran Khan as well corruption stories exposed in the project. On contradictions and corruption Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf ex-comrade Ziaullah Afridi on Wednesday submitted a resolution in the provincial assembly secretariat to enquire about the corruption in the project.
