NEW DELHI: Finally some good news for the hosts as stalwart AB De Villiers has been added into the South African squad for the remaining three ODIs of the six-match series against India. Although De Villiers has been included into the 15-match squad for the final three matches, the decision to play him on Saturday will be taken by the management only after the practice session on Friday. De Villiers had sustained a injury to his right index finger during the third Test match against India which ruled him out of the first three matches of the series. The hosts have been going through a horror time with respect to injuries as they have missed the services of big players like De Villiers (missed all three), Faf Du Plessis (missed second and third) and Quinton de Kock (missed third). Du Plessis and De Kock have been ruled out of the entire ODI series and T20I series as well. The Proteas have missed the services of De Villiers a great deal as the middle order have been simply run over by the visitors. In the first ODI, regular skipper Du Plessis slammed a century in an otherwise disappointing batting performance from the hosts. While in the second and third ODIs, they were dismissed for 118 an 179 respectively, enroute to massive defeats. If De Villiers is decalred fit for the fourth ODI at the Wanderers on Saturday, his presence in the middle-order is definitely going to bolster the South African batting. ODI squad: Aiden Markram (capt), Hashim Amla, AB de Villiers, JP Duminy, Imran Tahir, David Miller, Morne Morkel, Chris Morris, Lungi Ngidi, Andile Phehlukwayo, Kagiso Rabada, Tabraiz Shamsi, Khaya Zondo, Farhaan Behardien, Heinrich Klaasen (wk).
