ISLAMABAD: A 12th grade student Faheem Ashraf of the Islamia Public Collage killed his own school principal Sareer Ahmad on Monday morning here in Tehsil Shabqadar of the district Charsadda. Eyewitness said that Sareer Ahmad got master’s degree in Islamic studies and had been teaching in the same collage as a lecturer. On Monday morning when he left the class, 20-year-old student Faheem Ashraf opened fire on them due to which he got critically injured and was shifted to Shabqadar district hospital from where he was referred to LRH hospital Peshawar but succumbed to injuries and breath last on the way. The LRH emergency ward head confirmed his death on 11am. Schoolteachers told the school principal was angry on the student over the dull performance and absence from college for various days.

Later the culprit was arrested by FC and handed over to police. Police lodged an FIR and investigation are in process, while another FIR was lodged by college student Haris in police station that they are witness of the event when Faheem opened fire on college principal.

Zahoor Afridi DPO Charsadda confirmed the incident. He rejected the allegations rumoring on social media that student killed his teacher on committing blasphemy. A video appeared on social media of the killer Faheem when FC men tethering his hands when the student in loud voice justifying the murder and told I accept the murder as I have been taught don’t be afraid of any one in Allah’s matter, I accept the murder and I am not afraid of any one I have fired six bullets on my teacher you can kill me.

Some speculations rises of blasphemy on teacher as the student and teacher exchange some harsh words regarding the religion after the student was absent due to participating in the Faizabad sit-in in November lead by Khadim Hussain Rizvi but till late night it was not confirmed from anyone.

Later the students staged a protest demonstration on Mohmand-Shabqadar road and blocked the road demanding high punishment for the killer. The deceased teacher was laid to rest on Monday evening in his native village Attaki Shabqadar.
