KABUL: Three afghan military personnel were shot down by Taliban operatives early Tuesday stated Afghan authorities, the army men were attacked and killed on separate instances in Afghanistan’s eastern Ghazni province. The spokesman for Ghazni’s governor, Arif Noori also said that five other soldiers were left injured as a result of the attacks that took place earlier in the day. He added that the districts where the attacks took place namely Muqar and Andar are now under complete control of the Afghan security authorities. A spokesman for the Taliban, Zabiullah Mujahid while claiming responsibility for the Ghazni attacks stated that the Taliban operatives were successful in sabotaging the checkpoints and took away all available weapons and ammo after killing the Afghan army men. It is pertinent to mention here that the Taliban have increased attacks on the country’s security forces while capturing numerous districts all over the country.
