Harry Styles reflects on One Direction journey at Wembley

Published on: June 13, 2026 4:10 PM

Harry Styles delivered an emotional moment during his Wembley Stadium performance as part of his “Together, Together” world tour, where he reflected on his early career and One Direction beginnings. The concert marked the first night of his 12-show London residency, drawing a sold-out crowd of nearly 80,000 fans.

During the show, the singer revisited memories of his first X Factor audition, describing how his journey to fame began 16 years ago when he travelled to London for the competition. He said that passing through Wembley always carries deep emotional meaning because of his early experiences in the city.

Furthermore, Styles recalled how he was placed in a band at the X Factor, which later became the globally successful group One Direction. He highlighted that the formation of the band took place in a nearby studio, marking the beginning of a career that transformed global pop music.

The singer also added a special touch to his setlist by debuting “Little Freak” live during the concert, alongside several of his most popular solo hits. Fans responded enthusiastically as he combined nostalgic storytelling with high-energy performances throughout the night.

In addition, Styles paid tribute to British artist David Hockney during the event, acknowledging his influence and legacy. The concert also featured country music star Shania Twain as a supporting act, adding further excitement to the opening night of the stadium series.

Overall, the Wembley show blended personal reflection with major musical moments, as Styles connected his past with his present success. The performance reinforced his journey from reality TV contestant to global pop icon, while celebrating key milestones in his evolving career.SEO key phrases: Harry Styles, One Direction, Wembley concert, X Factor audition, Together tour, live performance
