In a promotional video circulating online, Ramzan Chhipa appeared alongside a person dressed as a zombie while delivering a message aimed at young people. Wearing his trademark green attire and Jinnah cap, he urged the youth to avoid drugs and take care of their health, jokingly warning that otherwise they could “become zombies” themselves.
The unusual collaboration quickly gained attention on social media, with users reacting to the unexpected crossover between humanitarian work and film promotions. The clip has further increased public curiosity surrounding the upcoming horror-action movie.
Directed as a zombie thriller with elements of action and comedy, Zombeid stars Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat in lead roles. The story follows a martial artist and his girlfriend who become trapped inside a cage-fighting venue during a deadly outbreak that transforms people into zombies.
The film’s trailer, released earlier this month, has generated strong online engagement due to its fast-paced action scenes, horror elements, and retro Hollywood-inspired visual style. Fans have described the project as one of the more unusual and ambitious concepts attempted in recent Pakistani cinema.
Zombeid is scheduled for release on May 27 during the Eidul Adha holiday season, a period often considered highly competitive for local film releases.
