Meghan Markle proves Princess Lilibet is Prince Harry’s mini-me

Published on: May 18, 2026 4:16 AM

Princess Lilibet was first in line to inherit her dad Prince Harry’s red hair. Indeed, Meghan Markle-who also shares son Prince Archie, 7, with Harry-showed off the 4-year-old’s bright red hair in a new photo shared to social media. In the May 16 Instagram post, Meghan snapped a mirror selfie inside her closet as Lilibet crouched at her feet with her back to the camera. Wearing her hair in a ponytail, the young royal’s red locks-which she undoubtedly won in the genetics lottery from her dad-were on full display. Clear that she also takes after her mom’s passion for fashion, Meghan captioned the sweet pic alongside a purple heart emoji, “Mama’s little helper.” Recently, Meghan celebrated another redhead in the family-Archie for his 7th birthday. To mark the occasion, the 44-year-old shared a rare photo of her son’s face. “7 years later,” Meghan captioned the throwback pic of Archie as an infant laying on Prince Harry’s chest on Instagram on May 6. “Happy birthday to our sweet boy.” Though Meghan and Harry, 41, are notoriously private about their personal life, the As Ever founder has shared how becoming a mom has only strengthened her instincts as a businesswoman. “I’m a mom with kids at that age where they are constantly learning something new. I watch them face things that feel completely insurmountable every day,” Meghan told Harper’s Bazaar in November. “But you can remember and say, ‘I know it seems really hard right now, but trust me, that’s going to come so easily soon.
