Siddiqui remarked, “Fake filmein ban rahi hain… duniya mein kya ho raha hai sab jaantey hain. Asli sachhai kya hai, yeh bhi sab jaantey hain,” highlighting the growing audience awareness of global events and the role of cinema in shaping perceptions.
His comments reignite the debate over Bollywood’s social responsibility versus pure entertainment. Siddiqui suggested that filmmakers should consider the societal impact of their work, guiding audiences responsibly rather than simply producing content for profit or spectacle.
