ISLAMABAD — Flight operations from Pakistan to several Middle Eastern destinations continue to face disruptions, with 25 additional flights cancelled on Saturday, aviation sources confirmed.
From Lahore, 14 flights to and from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar were called off. Meanwhile, four flights from Sialkot Airport and seven from Multan and Faisalabad were also cancelled.

The cancellations come as the airspace of multiple Middle Eastern countries remains closed for the 15th consecutive day following ongoing military strikes by the United States and Israel on Iran. The disruption is affecting both passenger and cargo services, with airlines facing operational challenges due to rerouting and limited air corridors.
Aviation officials noted that the disruptions are part of a continuing trend. On Friday, 72 flights from Pakistan to the Middle East were cancelled, indicating the significant impact of regional tensions on international air travel.
Passengers are advised to check with their airlines before traveling and to anticipate possible delays or further cancellations. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation and coordinating with airlines to minimise inconvenience while ensuring safety in the region’s restricted airspace.

The prolonged closure of Middle Eastern airspace has raised concerns among Pakistani travellers and businesses reliant on Gulf connectivity, especially for trade, remittances, and expatriate travel. Airlines have been urged to provide timely updates and support to affected passengers, including rebooking and refunds where applicable.
Officials remain hopeful that air travel may gradually resume once the regional tensions ease and safe flight corridors are restored.
