
China’s permanent envoy to the United Nations, Fu Cong, warned that terrorist groups operating in Afghanistan pose a serious threat to neighboring countries. He highlighted the presence of ETIM, ISIS, and other violent groups, stressing that attacks have targeted Chinese citizens, resulting in multiple deaths.
Fu Cong criticized the Taliban regime for allowing terrorist activities on Afghan soil, urging them to acknowledge the severe risks posed by these groups. He emphasized that continued militant activity increases international pressure on the Taliban government.

The Chinese envoy strongly condemned all acts of terrorism emanating from Afghanistan, calling on the Taliban to take full responsibility for security within their territory. He warned that unchecked terrorist operations threaten both regional stability and international trust.
China’s statement reinforces its position on regional security, stressing that Afghanistan must not serve as a base for cross-border terrorism. Fu Cong urged concrete measures to dismantle all active terrorist networks operating in the country.
