
Lebanon’s health ministry reported that Israeli attacks have killed nearly 300 people since Monday as the conflict with Hezbollah escalates. The ministry said the total death toll has reached 294, with 1,023 others wounded, following continuous airstrikes and military operations across the country.
Israel warned Lebanon of a “very heavy price” if it fails to restrain Hezbollah, targeting the group’s strongholds with airstrikes and a rare airborne raid in the eastern Bekaa Valley. Israeli forces said the operation aimed to locate the remains of missing air force navigator Ron Arad, though nothing was recovered.

In the past 24 hours, 41 people were killed in Israeli strikes near Nabi Chit, including three Lebanese army personnel. Residents described intense bombardments and low-flying helicopters, calling the night a “night of hell” as civilians faced constant shelling and evacuations.
The Israeli military stressed it has no territorial claims on Lebanon but will not tolerate attacks originating from Lebanese territory. Meanwhile, Hezbollah warned Israeli citizens near the border, including in Kiryat Shmona, to evacuate immediately amid the ongoing hostilities.

The United Nations has urged urgent dialogue between Israel and Lebanon to prevent further escalation. Officials warned that ongoing military actions risk deepening instability, causing unprecedented displacement, and inflicting further suffering on civilians across both countries.
