ISPR DG visits Lahore universities, empowers youth for national security

Director General of ISPR, Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, visited top universities in Lahore, including Aitchison College, University of Engineering and Technology, and Lahore College for Women University. During these visits, he engaged students and faculty in discussions about national security, hybrid warfare, and the pivotal role of youth in safeguarding the nation.

The sessions focused on modern security challenges, intellectual preparedness, and strategic awareness. University leaders and educators expressed confidence in the Pakistan Armed Forces’ professionalism and emphasized that both faculty and students would stand united with the military during national emergencies.

DG ISPR highlighted the significance of youth participation in defense initiatives, stressing that active engagement and awareness of contemporary threats are vital for strengthening Pakistan’s security framework. He encouraged students to remain informed about hybrid and digital warfare tactics to support national resilience.

Students reflected that the interactive sessions improved their understanding of strategic defense, modern warfare, and the responsibilities of citizens in ensuring national security. They also reported a strengthened sense of pride in Pakistan’s armed forces and commitment to protecting the country.
