KARACHI: CCTV footage has emerged showing the abduction of a three-month-old infant from Civil Hospital Karachi, ARY News reported. The recording clearly shows a man and a woman fleeing the hospital in broad daylight while carrying the baby, with both suspects’ faces visible.

The incident occurred on December 25, 2025, when the child’s mother had taken her sick infant to the hospital for treatment. While stopped at Mir Nakkah to bottle-feed, a woman approached and offered assistance in getting to the hospital. The child received medical attention and a drip, but as the treatment concluded, the woman suddenly ran off with the baby wrapped in a sheet.

The mother immediately registered a First Information Report (FIR) at the Eidgah Police Station, prompting an investigation. Police are reviewing the CCTV footage to identify and locate the suspects. No arrests have been reported so far. Authorities have urged the public to remain vigilant, particularly in hospital settings.
