Lady Gaga in Harlequin Live — One Night Only was filmed at the historic Belasco Theatre in downtown Los Angeles on September 30, 2024. The post-midnight performance was witnessed by only a small group of fans, adding to the show’s mystique and fueling online speculation for months.
Gaga explained that the footage was intentionally held back to allow anticipation to grow organically among fans. She noted that the team felt the performance needed time before release, ultimately deciding that the holiday season aligned perfectly with the project’s bold and intimate spirit.
The film features Gaga performing with a six-piece band, delivering stripped-down, rock-tinged renditions of classics such as That’s Life, That’s Entertainment, and When the Saints Go Marching In. Two original tracks from Harlequin are also included.
