Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar recently shared a light-hearted moment with actress Kareena Kapoor during a lunch gathering at their children’s annual function at Dhirubhai Ambani International School, much to the delight of fans.

Kareena, 45, posted a fun video clip captured by Johar, in which she is seen cheerfully enjoying a large samosa. Narrating the moment in his trademark humorous style, Karan joked, “This is what Kareena Kapoor does at the school function—eating a samosa. For all you people who think she is on a diet.”

Responding instantly, Kareena laughed and said, “No, I am not.” Karan continued teasing her, adding, “Look what she is eating. A big samosa. I am proud of you, Bebo. You are my carbie doll. I love it.” Kareena briefly shot him a mock-stern look before carrying on with her snack, making the exchange even more amusing.
The playful banter didn’t stop there. Kareena later shared a photo of Karan himself enjoying snacks at the school function and captioned it, “He eats too,” along with a laughing emoji. The friendly exchange offered fans a warm glimpse into the duo’s off-screen camaraderie and their down-to-earth moments away from the glitz of Bollywood.

On the professional front, Kareena Kapoor is set to appear next in Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming crime drama Daayra. The film marks Kareena’s 68th project and reunites director Meghna Gulzar with Junglee Pictures. Currently under production, Daayra is expected to release in 2026.
