
LOS ANGELES – Bill Skarsgård has stunned fans with his extraordinary portrayal of Pennywise in It: Welcome to Derry, HBO’s latest series exploring the origin story of Stephen King’s iconic dancing clown.
The show delves into questions the previous It films left unanswered, giving viewers a deeper understanding of Pennywise’s terrifying beginnings. Skarsgård reprised the role, raising the bar for the character with his intense performance.

Barbara Muschietti highlighted the demanding process, noting that applying and removing the makeup and prosthetics takes roughly three and a half to four hours daily, requiring immense patience from Skarsgård throughout filming.
