
Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari congratulated Finland on its 108th Independence Day, extending warm wishes to its people. He highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to stronger ties with Finland, emphasizing shared democratic values and respect. Zardari also praised Finland’s achievements in education, research, innovation, and its top ranking in the Global Happiness Index.
He stressed expanding cooperation in trade, education, and sustainable development, including green transition, digitalization, and technology. Collaboration in mining, telecommunications, and other economic sectors was also highlighted. These initiatives aim to deepen political and commercial engagement between the two countries.
