Following the court’s decision to deny the bail, Abdul Wahid’s condition suddenly deteriorated, and he collapsed. He was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead shortly afterward. The tragic incident has sent shockwaves through the local community, highlighting the emotional strain associated with legal proceedings.

Court proceedings in Pakistan have occasionally witnessed similar distressing incidents. Earlier this year, a murder case suspect managed to bring a weapon into a courtroom, opening fire on witnesses who had come to testify. The attack killed two people instantly and injured two others before the police took the defendant into custody.

The earlier shooting occurred in Additional Sessions Judge Tahir Aslam’s court, where a murder case from the Model Town police station was being heard. The victims, Saqib and Ali Butt, were present to provide testimony, while Aftab and Usman were also injured in the incident.

Authorities continue to stress the importance of strict security measures in court premises to prevent such tragedies. In the case of Abdul Wahid, the sudden heart attack has prompted discussions about the emotional toll of courtroom hearings on families and the need for better medical readiness in judicial settings.

The Dadu incident underscores both the high stakes involved in legal battles and the fragility of human life in moments of extreme stress.
