PCB chairman visits Saudi Arabia to promote cricket and youth sports

Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi met Saudi Sports Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal in Riyadh. They discussed promoting cricket in Saudi Arabia. They also focused on youth engagement and strengthening sports cooperation between the two nations.

During the meeting, both sides agreed to enhance communication between relevant authorities. They planned joint initiatives and practical steps to provide more opportunities for young people. The discussion emphasized actionable plans for short-term and long-term sports development.

Naqvi praised Prince Abdulaziz’s efforts under Vision 2030 to advance the sports sector. He said the initiative has created a strong foundation for modern sports infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. Both leaders agreed on the potential benefits of bilateral collaboration.

The talks highlighted development of cricket infrastructure, joint training programs, and youth tournaments. They also discussed bilateral visits and exchange programs to strengthen youth participation and skills. Officials stressed that collaboration would benefit players and communities in both countries.
