The United States and Ukraine are set to continue working on a revised plan aimed at ending the war with Russia after agreeing to adjust a previous proposal considered overly favorable to Moscow.
In a joint statement following talks in Geneva on Sunday, both sides said they had drafted a “refined peace framework,” though they did not disclose specific details about the updated plan.
The White House confirmed that Ukraine considers the revised framework aligned with its national interests and core strategic requirements, while Kyiv itself has not issued an official statement on the plan yet.

The updated plan leaves unresolved issues, including how to ensure Ukraine’s security amid ongoing Russian threats, as both countries pledged to maintain “intensive work” ahead of a Thursday deadline set by Washington.
European nations offered a counter-proposal easing territorial concessions and suggesting a NATO-style security guarantee from the US, highlighting concerns that the original 28-point plan could be seen as largely favoring Russia.
