
Pakistan and Germany have reaffirmed their commitment to enhance bilateral cooperation in defense, politics, economy, trade, investment, and education. The agreement came during meetings at the fourth EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum in Brussels.
The discussions were held between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and German Foreign Minister Joachim Waddell. Both leaders expressed satisfaction over positive developments in bilateral relations and agreed to maintain close coordination on regional and global issues.

Ishaq Dar thanked Germany for providing €114 million for 2025–26, focusing on climate change and energy transition, sustainable economic development, vocational training, and social protection. He also invited German leadership to visit Pakistan to further strengthen ties.
During the Brussels forum, Ishaq Dar also met with Philippine Secretary of Foreign Affairs Maria Theresa Pi-Lazaro. They reviewed bilateral relations and discussed new opportunities for future cooperation.

Both Pakistan and the Philippines expressed satisfaction with ongoing collaboration at the United Nations and other international forums. They also committed to continue supporting each other’s nominations and initiatives globally.
