
The Punjab Environment Protection Agency, in collaboration with the Punjab Safe City Authority, has launched a strict crackdown on vehicles operating without mandatory Green Stickers across Lahore.
According to spokesperson Sajid Bashir, over 2,000 e-challans have been issued in just four days under a zero-tolerance policy, and enforcement measures will become even more stringent in the coming weeks.

Under the new rules, repeat offenders will face doubled fines, while third-time violators risk having their vehicles impounded immediately, with a complete ban now in place within Lahore and on motorways.
Authorities have also warned that vehicles displaying fake or self-made stickers will face legal action, including heavy fines and confiscation, as traffic units and anti-enforcement squads conduct continuous spot inspections.

Checkpoints across the city are on high alert, with Traffic Police units and special squads actively monitoring vehicles to ensure compliance with the Green Sticker regulations.
Citizens are strongly advised not to drive without a valid Green Sticker, as officials emphasize that challans, fines, and vehicle seizure are now unavoidable for violators under the new enforcement policy.
